:: What is UsableDesign and where are you located?

:: Can you register a domain name for me? Can you set up domains other than .com, .org, and .net?

Yes, you can register a .com, .org, and .net domain name with us for Rs. 500/- (INR) per year. We do not currently register or support domains other than .com, .org., and .net. Please click here to request quote >>

:: How do I promote my website to the potential customers spread across the globe?

When you have approved your web design with us, it will be ready to go live, whether you are hosting with UsableDesign or at another location. From start to launch and beyond, UsableDesign works with you to ensure your success - we have specialised on search engine optimisation and ranking methodologies. We do the keyword research, copy re-writing, search engine submission, etc.

:: How much will a project cost?

All charges will be quoted prior to job acceptance. We will give you a estimated budget size or breakdown of costs in a fully written proposal. In cases that require immediate turnaround, an hourly rate will be used to determine final cost. However, to help small businesses, freelancers, self-employed to have an effective web presence, we have structured our pricing to suit their budget needs.

:: What are the payment terms?

There are two payment options depending on size of budget and time schedule. For smaller projects there is an initial payment of 50% of the total cost of the estimate is required upon contracting with us, with the remainder due upon completion of the project. For larger more complex projects we will devise a payment method plan over the projected time schedule.

:: How long does a project take?

Flexibility is our strength. With adequate information, we can expedite your job request to meet your needs.

:: Can you do rush jobs?

Determined by the complexity of the project and specified delivery date, we will do our upmost to meet any requirements set by the client.

:: How will I monitor the project’s progress?

You will be assigned your own directory on our web server where you can view the project in progress. You will also receive either e-mail updates or phone calls, depending on your choice, detailing any changes.

:: How will I receive my project once it's completed?

Once production is complete all projects will be either delivered to your required destination or distrubted to the targeted areas of the marketing plan. We will supply hosting, production and mailing for all projects or if preferred liase with a company of your choice. We will also give you a copy of the completed project via E-mail attachment, Floppy disk, or CD.

:: Can I upgrade my plan or features later?

You can purchase new or expanded features, or upgrade to a new plan at any time. There is no set up fee for upgrading. You can request an upgrade by e-mailing rajesh@getUsableDesign.com. Please include your domain name along with information on what you wish to upgrade.

:: How can I check my account information?

Your control panel contains various information about your account, including number of POP accounts and amount of disk space available, the current bandwidth usage for your account, etc. You can access your control panel via http://www.yourdomain.com/siteadmin/

:: Who owns the copyright?

Once you have made final payment for work done by UsableDesign, it belongs to you, and we no longer own any entitlement to it. The only thing we ask is if we can use it in our portfolio.

:: What kind of guarantee do you offer?

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. From the time we complete your project and forward it for your approval, you have 25 days to make minor content or cosmetic changes. Any re-design of the project will be charged at our hourly rate. As referrals form a large part of our business, we want to be sure you are completely satisfied with your project.
